Dr. James Weeks
Head Physician
Sees patients age 16 and up.
Dr. Weeks is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 10 years of experience in practice. In 2019, Dr. Weeks transitioned to Cannabinoid medicine and opened One Heart Medical.
Given his experience as a Hospitalist and ICU physician, he has expertise in every system in the human body. He has seen first-hand many of the pitfalls of modern pharmaceutical drugs. Dr. Weeks has counseled thousands of Ohioans in regard to medicinal cannabis. He educates on the medicinal applications of cannabis to UC undergraduate and medical students as well as gives lectures to varying hospital systems in the region.
Over the past 5 years, he successfully petitioned the State of Ohio to add both Terminal Illness as well as Cachexia (or Anorexia/ Wasting syndrome) as qualifying reasons to obtain medical cannabis in Ohio. He petitioned to add Opioid Use Disorder as a qualifying condition in 2022 though the state declined him. He hopes to reapply for this as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr. Weeks is originally from Houston, Texas. He and his family have lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for over 15 years.

Dr. Rachel Feinauer
Physician
Sees patients 18 and older
Dr. Feinauer is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Feinauer has seen the benefit of medical cannabis as an integrative treatment in her patients over her years in practice as a Primary Care Physician. She specializes in adult medicine and believes in the core values of One Heart Medical in providing guidance on individualized treatment plans founded in evidence-based practices and patient education.
Dr. Feinauer grew up in Northern Kentucky. She enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog Jack.
Dr. Martha Maier
Physician
Sees pediatric and adult patients
Dr. Maier is a board-certified physician, practicing since 2007. She completed her residency training at Vanderbilt University in Diagnostic Radiology with a subsequent fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr Maier has been doing medical cannabis consults for over 4 years now. Dr. Maier believes in the therapeutic efficacy of cannabis for a wide range of clinical conditions and is committed to the health and well-being of her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, outdoor exercise, reading and cooking. She and her family have lived in the Greater Cincinnati area for over 10 years.
